Supporting Kang Eul-joon, Ahn Jun-ho, and Lee Sang-yoon in the search for a national men's basketball coach

Kang Eul-joon (58), former Goyang Orion head coach, Ahn Jun-ho (67), former Seoul Samsung head coach, and Lee Sang-yoon (61), former Sangmyung University head coach, have applied for the men's national basketball coaching job.

The Korea Basketball Association said that the three teams submitted their applications after the application period ended at 6 p.m. on Dec. 12.

Men's national basketball coaches are required to apply as a team of one head coach and one assistant coach. Kang Eul-joon teamed up with Hwang Sung-in, former Dankook University coach, Ahn Jun-ho with Seo Dong-chul, former Suwon KT coach, and Lee Sang-yoon with Lee Hyun-joon, former Seoul SK coach.

The candidates will undergo a 19-day interview evaluation and final deliberations by the federation's Board of Directors.

The new men's national basketball head coach will 바카라사이트 lead the team from the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers in February 2024 to the FIBA Asia Cup Finals in 2025.

Previously, Chu Il-seung and Lee Hoon-jae led the Korean men's national team until the Hangzhou Asian Games in October.
