Using Push Notifications for Birthday eCard Alerts

Hello Pushcrew Community!

I’m exploring ways to combine push notifications with more personal celebrations. One idea that stood out is sending alerts when a group birthday eCard is created or signed. Imagine a push or browser notification saying, “Hey — John’s birthday card is ready. Add your message!” It keeps the momentum and makes celebrations feel more interactive.

We currently use german birthday cards tools where teammates click a link, sign with messages, GIFs, photos, and the final card becomes a keepsake. It’s simple, warm, and inclusive.

Has anyone integrated notification services (like Pushcrew) or push APIs to send reminders or celebratory nudges tied to cards or community events? What are best practices or pitfalls you’d watch out for?

Would love to hear real experiences or architecture ideas!
