After the Gladiolus Flowers have died cut the stalk off but leave the foliage. The energy is stored in the leaves as food which is stored in new Gladiolus Bulbs below. Allow the leaves to turn their natural yellow, and then carry away the corms, which is essential to the following year of the plant.
