Anyone figured out Mature Personal Ads that work?

I have been testing different traffic sources lately, and I keep coming back to one question. Are Mature Personal Ads actually worth the effort, or am I just missing something obvious?

At first, I thought it would be easy. The audience already knows what they want, so I assumed the ads would convert fast. But my early campaigns were kind of disappointing. Clicks were coming in, but signups were low. It felt like I was talking to the wrong people even though the niche seemed clear.

What I realized over time is that mature audiences respond differently. They do not react well to flashy headlines or overpromising copy. When I toned things down and wrote in a more honest, respectful way, engagement improved. I also narrowed my targeting instead of going broad. Age range, interests, even time of day made a noticeable difference.

I started reading more about how others approach Mature Personal Ads and testing small changes instead of relaunching whole campaigns. Simple tweaks like clearer call to action, softer images, and realistic expectations helped more than big creative overhauls.

Another thing I learned is to track behavior after the click. Some ads had lower CTR but better conversions. That surprised me. It showed me that cheap clicks are not always the goal.

So if you are struggling like I was, maybe slow down and adjust your tone. Think about how you would personally talk to someone in that age group. Keep it real. Test in small steps. That shift alone made my campaigns feel more stable and less like guesswork.

Curious if others have seen the same thing or if you are using a totally different approach?
