Dealing with Turnstile Capital Management over a broken SunPower solar lease—anyone else?
Has anyone else been getting hounded by Turnstile Capital Management over a SunPower solar panel lease?
My panels stopped working almost a year ago. I opened multiple tickets with LaunchServing, the company that was supposed to service them, and never got a single response. The system just sits on my roof, generating nothing. After months of paying for zero electricity, I stopped making payments on the lease.
Now, Turnstile is calling me constantly, demanding the full remaining value of the lease—tens of thousands of dollars for equipment that doesn’t even work. They’re threatening my credit and acting like I just stopped paying for a working service.
From what I’ve read, like on this site https://protectionforconsumers.com/facing-turnstile-capital-management-phone-harassment/, the original leaseholder (SunPower/LaunchServing) failed to maintain the system as required. It seems like the contract is in breach, and the equipment is essentially abandoned.
I’m planning to send a formal dispute letter, but I wanted to see if anyone here has dealt with this specific situation with Turnstile. How did you handle them demanding full payment for broken equipment? Any advice is appreciated.
